I recently picked up a fluid tripod from a local Goodwill store for $5. Fluid head tripod give you smoother control when filming vs. the herky jerk results you get with a cheap tripod because of the friction in the joints that grips and loosens as you turn. Fluid head tripods are pretty expensive so I really lucked out. There was only one problem with this tripod and that was it was missing a handle. Can't turn it with out a handle.

In this vlog, I doing a little "Macgyver"-ing to create my own handle since I couldn't buy one in the store.
